Ruuh is designed to respect your privacy. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not collect your personal data, we do not show ads, and we do not use tracking or analytics tools.
Location
The app uses your location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. These calculations happen only on your device, and your location is never sent to any server.
Stored data
Your preferences, tasbih count and favorites are stored on your device. If you subscribe to Ruuh+ and enable sync, they are synced through your iCloud account, which is managed by Apple and which we cannot access.
Quran and recitations
When you open a Mushaf page for the first time, its font is downloaded from Quran Foundation servers, and recitations are streamed from mp3quran.net. These providers receive standard download requests (such as your IP address) under their own policies, and we do not send them any data that identifies you.
Purchases
Ruuh+ purchases are made through the App Store and processed by Apple. We do not receive any payment information.
Notifications
Adhan and athkar notifications are scheduled on your device, without external servers.
Children
The app does not collect data from any user, including children.
